Since our establishment in 1917, Fickess Pumps, Inc has been a leader in industrial pumps. With decades of experience and a deep understanding of the market, we are proud to offer top-of-the-line products to our clients.
About
Fickess Pumps, Inc is a family-owned and operated company. Started in 1917 and known as Power Equipment Company (PECO), Fickess Pumps, Inc has been a distributor and servicer of industrial pumps and motors for over 100 years. Earl Fickess retired from the Viking Pump Foundry in 1978. Edward E. Fickess worked for Viking Pumps in college at the University of Northern Iowa. Upon graduation, Ed worked directly for Viking Pumps as an outside sales representative in the Midwest before taking a position at PECO in the 1970s. When the owners of PECO planned to retire, Ed and Patricia Fickess purchased PECO from Jim Sheperd in 1986. In the 1990s, PECO was renamed Fickess Pumps, Inc. In 2023, Fickess Pumps, Inc was passed down to three of Ed and Patricia's descendants. Levonne Anne Spadafora (Daughter), Casey Harper-Shealer (Granddaughter), and Chris Harper (Grandson). Fickess Pumps, Inc is a 4th generation industrial pump solution provider.
